As a Senior Care Assistant at Crossgate Care Home, you will lead and support a healthcare team with support from a Staff Nurse and management team. You will be able to administer medications and have excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues, residents, relatives and MDT members. You will assess and implement care plans for our residents.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll provide personal care to our residents, supporting them with bathing, eating, visiting the bathroom, and also getting around and enjoying our lovely home. Your warm, supportive, and caring nature will help you build meaningful relationships with our residents and you will get to know everything about their likes and dislikes as well as their needs.
Through following the guidelines laid out in the Care Standards, and the SSSC, ensure all service users are treated with dignity, respect and given the best possible treatment and assistance.
