We are establishing a new SRA-regulated ABS law firm in London and are seeking an experienced solicitor to join us as a Senior Supervising Solicitor.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced solicitor who wishes to work on a flexible, part-time basis while helping to build a modern and ambitious legal practice focused on serving UK and international clients.
Applications are particularly welcomed from experienced solicitors seeking a flexible, part-time role following partnership, practice ownership or retirement from full-time practice.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
Supervise legal work carried out within the firm.
Provide guidance and mentoring to junior legal staff, including trainee solicitors.
Ensure compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations.
Assist in developing the firm's legal procedures and quality standards.
Work closely with the firm's Director on the strategic development of the practice.
Subject to mutual agreement and SRA approval, there may be an opportunity to undertake the role of COLP in the future.
Require ments
Applicants should:
Hold a current practising certificate as a Solicitor of England and Wales.
Have substantial post-qualification experience.
Have excellent knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations.
Have experience supervising junior lawyers or trainees.
Be interested in supporting the development of a growing boutique law firm.
Experience in commercial, property, private client or immigration work would be advantageous.
