Role 2 - Personal Care Assistant, with Midday Supervisor responsibilities
Working Hours: 26 hours 40 mins per week over 5 days, between the hours of 9am and 3pm(20 hours PCA, 6 hours 40 minutes MDSA)
Salary: Personal Care Assistant - Grade 2, Midday Supervisor - Grade 1
Contract: Fixed term to July 2027 with potential for the roles to become permanent
Redgate Primary Academy are looking for two highly motivated and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join our dynamic, talented and supportive team, one with the addition of Midday supervisor responsibilities.

We have an exciting opportunity for two Personal Care Assistants to join the team, one with the addition of midday supervisor responsibilities. The successful candidate will support children over a whole age range with varying and sometimes complex needs, to assist with their day to day classroom and personal requirements.
The successful candidate will:

Support children with personal hygiene and self-care programmes
- Have a knowledge of all roles and responsibilities related to the care and support of children.
- Prepare learning materials and resources, adapting the environment when necessary.
- Support play and leisure activities
- Support children with eating and drinking at break times and lunch times
Essential

Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting demands
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all children and providing equality of opportunity
