Set within beautiful gardens, woodland and farmland, we are committed to caring for the estate using regenerative land management practices that enhance biodiversity and minimise our environmental impact.
We are looking for a reliable and enthusistic Grounds Maintenance Operaive to joing our small team and help mainatin the gardens and grounds to a high standard.
The Role:
This is a varied, hands-on role involving the maintenance of the castle grounds throughout the year. Duties will include:
- Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
- Operating ride-on mowers and towing small trailers
- Strimming and edging
- Raking and leaf clearance
- Weeding and border maintenance
- Clearing patches and overgrown areas
- General estate and garden maintenance
- Assisting with seasonal gardening and grounds maintenance tasks
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Enjoys working outdoors in all seasons
- Is physically fit and happy undertaking manual work
- Is reliable, hardworking and dependable
- Can work independently as well as part of a small team
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards
Previous gardening or grounds maintenance experience would be an advantage, but we are equally keen to hear from people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.
Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
