We are seeking a talented and passionate Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to take the next step in their career to join the culinary team at Lochgreen House Hotel Spa. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious chef with Rosette experience to help deliver exceptional dining experiences at one of Ayrshire's finest luxury hotels.

Working alongside an experienced Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering refined, seasonal dishes that showcase the very best of Scotland's exceptional local produce.
- Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and food preparation.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, consistency, and hygiene.
- Help lead, train, and inspire the kitchen brigade, taking responsibility in the Head Chef's absence.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and maintaining an efficient, well-organised kitchen.
- Contribute to the development of seasonal menus, showcasing modern Scottish cuisine with a focus on quality ingredients and Rosette-standard presentation.
- Ensure exceptional standards are maintained across restaurant service, private dining, weddings, and events.
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef within a quality hotel or restaurant.
- Experience working in a Rosette-standard kitchen is essential.
- A genuine passion for producing high-quality food using the finest seasonal Scottish ingredients.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a busy kitchen team.
- Experience with procurement systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
