Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray guns, and scaffolding to complete projects efficiently.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver tailored decorating solutions.
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Assist with minor repairs or surface preparations as needed to ensure a flawless finish.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with different types of paints, wallpapers, and decorative finishes.
- Strong communication skills in English for clear understanding of instructions and client interactions.
- Valid driving license is preferred for transportation between job sites.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Good physical stamina and dexterity to handle manual tasks throughout the workday.
- Prior experience working on residential or commercial projects is an advantage.
