Fix Auto Swansea West is looking for an experienced Vehicle Painter to join our growing team.
As a manufacturer-approved accident repair centre, we pride ourselves on delivering repairs to the highest standards while providing outstanding customer service. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a skilled painter who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a professional, supportive and forward-thinking team.
The Role
Working as part of our production team, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality paint repairs on a wide range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring every repair leaves the workshop to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare repaired & new panels and vehicles for paint.
- Mix and accurately colour match paint using water based paint systems.
- Apply primer, basecoat and clearcoat to a high standard.
- Carry out polishing, denibbing and paint rectification where required.
- Maintain exceptional quality standards while working efficiently to achieve productivity targets.
- Work closely with Panel, MET and Quality Control teams to ensure smooth vehicle progression.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Follow all manufacturer repair methods and company procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Painter within an accident repair centre.
- High attention to detail and pride in producing first-class repairs.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Full UK driving licence.
