Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Will Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting clients to take instructions. You will need to generate your own leads, sitting your own appointments and draft estate planning applications for head office to review. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong organisational skills and a passion for providing exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and a solid understanding of legal procedures related to estate planning. This is a self-employed position.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather relevant information and explain legal options clearly
- Ensure all documentation complies with current legislation and company policies
- Manage multiple cases efficiently, adhering to deadlines and prioritising tasks appropriately
- Maintain organised records of client files and correspondence using Microsoft Outlook and other organisational tools
- Collaborate with head office and other team members to ensure seamless workflow
- Stay updated on relevant legal developments affecting estate planning and will writing practices
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Knowledge of IT systems relevant to document management and client correspondence
- Previous experience or training in will writing or estate planning is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good understanding of legal terminology related to estate planning is advantageous

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
