The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children in the classroom, helping them to access learning and build confidence.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group interventions where required.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help create a calm, supportive learning environment.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with primary-aged children in a school, nursery or similar setting.
- Is caring, patient and passionate about supporting children's learning and wellbeing.
- Is proactive, reliable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Can adapt to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs.
- Holds, or is willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
