We are seeking a proactive and organised Account Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of staffing operations across allocated client sites. This role is responsible for recruitment, workforce compliance, client relationship management, and ensuring operational service delivery meets agreed KPIs and standards.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting both clients and workforce teams, ensuring staffing requirements are met efficiently while maintaining excellent service levels and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of new contracts and client onboarding processes
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of client-specific requirements
- Ensure KPI compliance and provide feedback and performance updates where necessary
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Review reports and client satisfaction surveys, presenting findings internally and to clients
- Liaise with Service Centres and regional management teams to maintain effective support structures
- Ensure all records and documentation comply with legislative requirements
- Conduct and report on periodic client review meetings
- Provide clients with legislative updates and implement required changes
- Qualify and assess job requirements and staffing needs
- Build and maintain strong internal and external client relationships
- Monitor industry trends including salary benchmarking, candidate availability, and market activity
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly operational review meetings
Recruitment & Workforce Management
- Actively recruit and resource candidates for designated sites
- Manage candidate attraction, engagement, and retention activities
- Conduct candidate registration, interviews, testing, and selection processes
- Deliver inductions prior to placement
- Ensure work instructions and service standards are communicated effectively
- Monitor recruitment team performance and productivity
- Support and manage performance management processes
- Review and coordinate service centre activity
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained across all positions
- Manage sickness absence and holiday cover requirements effectively
- Maintain full compliance throughout the recruitment and onboarding process
Person SpecificationEssential Skills & Experience
- Previous recruitment experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal, motivational, and problem-solving skills
