Full- or part-time dentist required , with flexibility to offer additional days, in a very busy NHS practice with excellent potential for private work
Essential Qualifications & Registration
- Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery (BDS or DDS/DMD)
- Valid registration with the relevant dental board:
- UK: General Dental Council (GDC)
- Completion of foundation training or residency (where applicable)
Experience
- Preferably 2–6 years of clinical experience (new graduates may be considered for junior roles)
- Experience in general dentistry including examinations, fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care
- Familiarity with NHS/private dental care systems (UK-specific)
Skills
- Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage anxious or nervous patients
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- Time management and organizational ability
Compliance & Legal
- Up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (UK)
- Indemnity insurance (e.g. with Dental Protection, MDDUS, etc.)
- Up-to-date CPD (Continuing Professional Development) in line with regulatory requirements
- Right to work in the country
Desirable (but not essential)
- Additional qualifications in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, or implants
- Experience using dental software (e.g. SOE/Exact, Dentally, R4)
- Ability to speak multiple languages (especially in diverse patient communities)
