The Role
We are looking for an experienced Workshop & Projects Lead to take a key hands-on role within KRAFTED, our bespoke cabinetry manufacturing business, while also supporting the successful delivery of wider SK Interiors projects.
This is not a desk-based management role. We are looking for an accomplished cabinet maker or joiner who still enjoys making exceptional work, but who has the experience and leadership ability to take responsibility for people, production, workflow and projects. The successful person will remain an active and productive member of the workshop when required.
Key ResponsibilitiesWorkshop Leadership & Production
· Lead the day-to-day flow of work through the KRAFTED workshop.
· Set clear priorities, allocate work and maintain pace, quality and accountability.
· Identify problems early and take practical action to keep production moving.
· Work productively on the tools when production demands it.
Planning & Production Readiness
· Plan upcoming cabinetry work against agreed project and installation dates.
· Work closely with the Production Drawing Detailer to ensure manufacturing information is ready when required.
· Ensure materials, hardware and components are available ahead of production.
· Monitor progress against realistic manufacturing expectations.
Projects & Installation
· Coordinate KRAFTED work through delivery, installation and completion.
· Work with subcontract installers, logistics providers and site teams.
· Work closely with the SK Interiors design team to understand wider project priorities.
· Help coordinate cabinetry installation with furniture and other project deliveries.
· Drive snagging and outstanding works through to completion.
Who We're Looking For
First and foremost, you need to know joinery. We are looking for someone with genuine experience in bespoke cabinetry, architectural joinery, furniture manufacturing or specialist fit-out who can command the respect of an experienced workshop team through their own knowledge and ability.
You may currently be a Workshop Foreman, Joinery Supervisor, Lead Cabinet Maker, Senior Cabinet Maker, Chargehand or Production Supervisor.
Ideally, you will bring
· Strong practical cabinet-making or joinery skills.
· Significant experience producing high-quality bespoke work.
· Previous experience leading people, jobs or workshop production.
· Confidence reading detailed production drawings and understanding materials, hardware and manufacturing processes.
· Experience of installation and site work.
· The ability to judge whether work is progressing at the right pace.
· Strong organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
The Mindset
We are looking for someone who takes ownership. If production falls behind, you help get it back on track. If a material does not arrive, you help find the solution. If an installation problem arises, you get involved and help resolve it. When production demands it, you are willing and able to get onto the tools and produce work yourself.
This is leadership through involvement, knowledge and example.

· The workshop knows what it is doing and what is expected.
· The right drawings, information and materials are ready.
· Good people are producing at a good pace without compromising quality.
· Problems are dealt with rather than passed around.
· Cabinetry is ready when promised and installations are properly coordinated.
· Projects get finished.

KRAFTED sits alongside SK Interiors, giving the successful person exposure to the complete journey from design and technical detailing through manufacture, installation and completion of luxury interior projects across the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
