We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Process Administrator to join our Salfords-based Engineering team for a Fixed-Term Contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative and process management skills to play a key role in supporting engineering operations and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
The Role
Working closely with the Engineering Process Manager (EPM), you will provide administrative and process support across the Engineering function, helping to ensure the effective management and implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). You will be instrumental in maintaining robust engineering processes, driving improvements, and supporting collaboration across multiple department
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, prioritise, and administer the Engineering Change Order (ECO) process, ensuring timely and accurate release of engineering changes.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to support the seamless introduction and implementation of approved changes.
- Support the development, enhancement, and optimisation of engineering and business processes.
- Review and facilitate ECO documentation, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards.
- Assist with engineering process improvement initiatives, special projects, and other business-critical activities.
- Provide administrative support to the wider Engineering team, contributing to the efficient operation of the department.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, ensuring attention to detail and process adherence at all times.
About You
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working within a process-driven, administrative, engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive, solution-focused, and committed to continuous improvement.
- Comfortable working within established procedures while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Engineering Change Management processes and systems.
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, such as Agile or similar change management platforms.
- Previous exposure to engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments.
