About the role
Are you seeking to make a difference, work with amazingly varied and precious resources and join a team passionate about the Isle of Man?
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, qualified professional with vision, versatility and vim. Based in the Island's capital, you will provide stewardship and sustainable development of Manx National Heritage's Library collections. You will manage and catalogue printed and digital resources, support their preservation and development and help make collections information more accessible through iMuseum, the Manx National Heritage website and other online platforms.
As part of a small, friendly Library and Archives team, you will deliver and promote reader services, respond to enquiries and support visitors and researchers in accessing the collections. You will also build relationships with authors, publishers, libraries and professional bodies, contribute to public events and community engagement and help introduce these remarkable collections to new audiences.

Things to note
A basic police check is required for this post, the cost of which will be covered by the Isle of Man Government.
Please note a relocation package is not available for this role.
