Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Joiner/Builder to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial builds, utilizing your craftsmanship and technical expertise. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to creating high-quality structures and ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Fabricate, assemble, and install various wooden and metal components using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
- Construct frameworks, walls, roofs, and other structural elements following detailed plans and specifications
- Perform roofing tasks including installing shingles, tiles, or metal sheets with precision and safety awareness
- Engage in heavy lifting activities to move materials safely around the site while adhering to safety protocols
- Carry out construction painting to prepare surfaces for finishing touches
- Assist with plumbing, masonry, or electrical tasks as needed to support broader project requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use
Experience
- Proven experience in fabrication, carpentry, joinery, or general construction work
- Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, screwdrivers, and measuring devices
- Familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, sanders, and grinders
- Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely over extended periods
- Experience with construction painting or finishing work is advantageous
- Basic understanding of plumbing, masonry, or electrical systems is a plus; relevant experience is preferred
