We are seeking a Studio and Facilities Coordinator to support the daily operations of our 75-person architectural studio. This position is facilities focussed and will work directly with the Head of Operations, Front of House Coordinator, and Housekeeper to ensure that the studio remains organised and set up for efficient working and our established hospitality-focused culture is maintained. Studio & Facilities
- Act as an internal ambassador for how we use our LPS ‘house’ and promote a culture of collaboration and respectful use of the office spaces
- Conduct AM/PM walkarounds and studio opening/closing as required responding proactively to any facilities issues
- Own PPM and compliance schedule, maintain asset registers and records
- Coordinate planned/reactive maintenance and contractors, permits and RAMS
- Monitor storage, sample library, modelshop and library organisation
- Conduct stock takes and ordering of facilities supplies
- Support studio improvements and minor moves/changes
- Administer the studio access control system and undertake keyholder and new starter inductions
- Liaise with Subtenants on facilities related matters
Health & Safety
- Conduct weekly alarm testing, statutory checks and maintain logs
- Support H&S committee with minute taking and action tracking
- Assist with risk assessments and emergency drills
- Restock first aid equipment
- Champion safe working, manual handling, and sustainability practices
Front of House & Operational Cover
- Cover and support the FOH Office Coordinator when absent or away from the Front Desk
- Provide support for other operational roles during periods of absence or leave
- Support the planning and preparation of studio breakfasts, lunches and all staff events and trips
Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to take responsibility, multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Experience in a facilities/operations or studio coordination role (creative/architecture environment a plus)
- Confident with supplier/contractor coordination and basic compliance/PPM
Desirable
- Comfortable undertaking basic handy-tasks
- IOSH Managing Safely or other H&S qualifications
- Fire Warden, First Aid at Work
