We believe that all individuals have the ability to grow and develop and we strive to manage the risks of individuals who have impulsive behaviours which affects their decision making skills.
About the role of care assistant
We have a fantastic opportunity for anyone who wishes to take the next step in their career in care. If you are looking to diversify your knowledge and experience, our care assistant role at Scarsdale will provide you with an opportunity to work within a service working with, and supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours. You will be part of a strong team working in a bespoke service and setting.
You will have the opportunity to experience care at its best and the implementation of active support within the service which gives you skills and communication methods to really make a difference to people’s lives.
Although previous experience in care or a complex setting would be advantageous, it is not essential as full in house training and ongoing support will be given.
Please note that we pay a minimum wage of £12.42 regardless of whether you are under 21 years old. We support and incentivise our Staff to qualify for NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 and these salaries are paid at £12.62 and £12.97
