Measure, cut, shape and assemble timber and other materials for construction and refurbishment projects.
Install doors, door frames, skirting boards, flooring, partitions, staircases and other wooden fixtures and fittings.
Read and interpret drawings, specifications and measurements to complete work accurately.
Carry out first-fix and second-fix carpentry work on residential and commercial properties.
Repair, replace and maintain damaged timber structures, fittings and building components.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and maintain equipment in good working condition.
Work closely with other construction workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed to specification and within agreed timescales.
Follow site health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
