Greenstorm provide high-quality, impartial surveying and installation solutions to support delivery for a range of Fuel Poverty schemes on behalf of supplier partners, ranging from Energy Suppliers, Installers, Funders to Housing Associations. As a result of growing pipelines, we're now seeking a self motivated site supervisor.
You’ll be the on-the-ground leader, ensuring teams follow safety standards, meet quality requirements, and complete inspections in line with regulations and project specifications.
As a growing company supporting vital Fuel Poverty schemes, we need someone who can help us scale consistently - keeping sites safe, tidy, compliant, and customer-focused.
Summary
We are seeking a Electrical Supervisor to join our team in the Midlands. This role is vital in overseeing the successful delivery of renewable energy projects, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance at every stage. As a Site Supervisor at Greenstorm, you will play a key role in delivering our mission of sustainable home improvements.
Site supervision & delivery
- Lead day-to-day site operations across multiple locations.
- Coordinate field teams, subcontractors, materials, equipment, access, and permits.
- Ensure work is delivered to programme targets, on time and to specification.
- Act as the on-site point of contact for clients, residents, housing partners, and stakeholders
Safety leadership (SSSTS standard)
- Drive a strong safety-first culture on every site.
- Run toolbox talks, inductions, RAMS reviews, and daily briefings.
- Monitor safe systems of work and stop unsafe practices immediately.
- Report, investigate, and close out incidents and near misses.
- Inspect ongoing and completed works for workmanship and compliance.
- Identify defects early, manage snagging, and ensure right-first-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate QA/QC records, checklists, photos, and sign-offs.
- Support continuous improvement of field standards and processes.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on-site activities to ensure project timelines and safety standards are met.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and clients to facilitate smooth operations.
- Oversee installation processes for solar PV, insulation, heat pumps, and other energy efficiency measures.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with PAS2030 and PAS2035 standards.
- Manage on-site teams, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work.
- Maintain accurate documentation of site activities and progress.
- Ensure all work adheres to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent qualification)
- JIB Gold Card or equivalent NVQ Level 3 electrical qualifications
- SSSTS or SMSTS (Desirable)
- Experience with Solar PV installation and NICEIC compliance (desirable)
Skills
- Strong management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of PAS2030 and PAS2035 standards is a plus.
- Ability to problem-solve effectively on-site.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety compliance on live sites.
- Quality-driven approach with experience in inspections, snagging, and improvement actions.
- Excellent communication skills with teams and customers/residents.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
