Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant / deputy Manger to oversee our bar operations in a vibrant unique hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending including cocktails and team management, ensuring that our bar delivers exceptional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. You will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests and leading a dedicated team of staff. Working closely with the General Manager to ensure operational standards are maintained.
Duties
- Manage daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Engage with customers to enhance their experience, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring it meets hospitality standards.
- Drive sales and maximise income at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in a bartending role within a late night bar / club
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively, with excellent leadership skills
- Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
