We're hiring Sales Assistants and Cashiers for a busy retail environment in Edinburgh. It's a hands-on role, on your feet, working with customers and the wider team throughout the shift.
What the Sales Assistant / Cashier role involves:
- Serving customers on the shop floor and at the till
- Handling cash, card, and contactless payments accurately
- Operating tills and POS systems
- Answering customer questions and helping them find products
- Keeping the shop floor tidy, stocked, and presentable
- Working alongside colleagues to keep things running smoothly
What we're looking for in a Sales Assistant / Cashier:
- A friendly, approachable manner with customers
- Clear communication and a reliable attitude
- Comfortable handling money and using a till
- Able to stay focused during busier periods
- Happy working as part of a team
No experience needed. Full training is provided, so if you've never worked as a Cashier or Sales Assistant before, that's fine — attitude and willingness to learn matter more.
