Service Manager
Anticimex UK is seeking a high‑performing Service Manager to lead field operations, elevate service quality, and drive technical excellence across our Commercial Pest Control division. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for ensuring our teams deliver safe, compliant, and consistently high‑quality service to customers.
About the Role
As Service Manager, you will report directly to the Branch Manager and take ownership of service delivery standards, technical quality, and field performance within your area. You will lead Technicians, Trainees, Senior Technicians, Field Biologists, and Field Service Supervisors; embedding Anticimex working methods and ensuring operational discipline across all field activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Leadership — Embed Anticimex UK service standards and ensure consistent, high‑quality customer outcomes.
- Team Leadership — Recruit, coach, develop, and performance‑manage field teams.
- Technical Excellence — Provide technical support, maintain industry knowledge, and ensure correct use of products and methodologies.
- Compliance & Safety — Uphold HSEQ, Quality, and Environmental standards; ensure safe and legal field operations.
- Operational Performance — Monitor service metrics, drive improvements, and support branch‑level objectives.
About You
Essential:
- Strong operational and technical knowledge of pest control or hygiene services
- Experience leading field‑based service delivery teams
- Proven people leadership and coaching capability
- Strong understanding of service quality, risk, and compliance
- Competent with Microsoft Office and service management systems
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
Desirable:
- Relevant technical or industry qualifications
- Experience in regulated service environments
- Prior experience as Senior Technician, Supervisor, or similar
