Premiership Experience are an Award-Winning Sports & Educational Tour Operator who have been arranging unforgettable experiences for schools, clubs and organisations across the globe since 2010. We work with the leading brands in global sports and entertainment, including Real Madrid, Manchester City, Pineapple Dance Studios & NBA Basketball plus many more.
The business is at an exciting stage in its development, and we are looking to speak to individuals with the ability to succeed in fast paced environment, a can-do attitude and most importantly a determination to develop themselves personally as well as the business.
We have a permanent full-time position available involving the following responsibilities:
- Working with senior management to strategically grow the business in key domestic & international markets, with a focus on sports and educational experiences.
- Develop a continual sales pipeline in your identified markets, starting with existing company clients.
- Account management responsibilities for tours arranged for your clients - developing productive and long-term working relationships with the target client base and partner supplier organisations.
- Working with operations, ensure all events and tour itineraries are fully organised to the minute detail, are fully costed, communicated internally and with partner clubs and clients, delivered on budget, and paid timeously by the clients.
- Identify new potential customers and create a clear plan to target this business. This will include schools and youth sports clubs we have not yet worked with.
- Work closely with senior management and team members to achieve sales and gross profit targets.
- Review, manage and grow the current database in your assigned markets.
- Make outbound phone calls to set up meetings with qualified leads.
- Travel to meetings, presentations, conventions, and conferences.
- Maintain and monitor all progress, contacts, and personal sales activity.
- Maintaining daily records of activity in the company CRM system
- Create and customize quotes and itineraries.
- Maintain and monitor close communication with clients if and whilst travelling.
- Provide timely reports to management regarding sales performance, pipeline development, market potential and new opportunities.
- Contribute to ongoing company development, especially in terms of identifying new market opportunities and/or improving existing services.
Advantageous experience/skills:
- A highly motivated and ambitious individual with an impressive CV to date in business development and sales, preferably gained in the events, sports, hospitality/leisure or travel industry
- An outgoing and confident person who has evidence of identifying and creating new business relationships and managing these successfully over a period of years (e.g. account management/repeat business that has grown over time)
- Analytical understanding of a complex sales process with excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent planning and co-ordination skills with a strong ability to multi-task
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and to exploit these
- A results-orientated individual
- Familiarity with CRM systems and maintaining these
- Experience of email marketing and telesales
- A self-starter who can work with minimum supervision, and be a key team player
- Interest and passion for sports, travel, and education
- Willingness to travel to meet clients, and access to own transport
- Be willing to travel domestically or globally to assist in the management of tours.
- Someone who may have their own contacts in this business sector
- An awareness of schools in the UK and possibly internationally
