Activity Support Worker – Bring Joy to Every Day!
Location: Arcot House Care Home, Sidmouth EX10 9HR
Hours: 30 Hours a week (including alternate weekends)

About the Role As an Activity Support Worker, you'll help create meaningful, enjoyable, and engaging experiences for our residents. No two days are the same!
One day you might be:
- Leading an arts and crafts session
- Hosting a music afternoon or singalong
- Running quizzes, games, and competitions
- Supporting residents with gardening projects
- Organising themed events or birthday celebrations
- Taking residents to appointments and on outings in our Dove Bug
- Spending time chatting and building relationships
Most importantly, you'll help make every day brighter for the people who live in our home.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, caring, and approachable
- Full of enthusiasm and positive energy
- Creative and willing to share new ideas
- Confident communicating with people
- A team player who enjoys helping others
- Passionate about improving wellbeing and quality of life
- Holds a valid driving licence, can drive and is confident to support resident outings and activities
Experience in care or activities is welcome, but not essential as training and ongoing support will be provided.
