Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Multi Drop Driver to join our dynamic delivery team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver goods across multiple destinations within designated routes.
- Load and unload packages, often involving heavy lifting, ensuring items are secure during transit.
- Follow planned delivery schedules accurately, managing time effectively to meet customer expectations.
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing exceptional service and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Assist in warehouse activities when necessary, including stock handling and inventory management.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and records of all deliveries made throughout your shift.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role, with a strong emphasis on commercial driving.
- age 23+ for van insurance purposes
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record;
- Experience with warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to safety standards.
