About you
The appointed postholder will hold a social work qualification and have a sound understanding of social work in a number of key areas, including safeguarding, and the ability to teach across a range of modules, with particular specialisms considered. The role will include developing content to shape the delivery of the social work programmes and the opportunity to teach across both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Your teaching will be informed by a combination of practical experience and/or research to support high quality learning and teaching, experience of using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs), and the use of technologies to enhance the learning, assessment of and feedback to our students.

You’ll need to demonstrate an ability to work effectively and positively within a small academic team, excellent teaching methods with the ability to develop a variety of approaches to learning and teaching that is student-centred, inclusive and flexible.
