Job Overview
We are seeking two dedicated Swim Instructors with a minimum of 2 years teaching experience to join our team at our Sunderland and Newcastle venue, providing high-quality swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels.
Position One: Head swim teacher: 21 hours (16 hours of teaching and up to 5 hours of admin).
Position Two: 12-16 hours
hours: (duel site role - Must have valid UK driving licence and own vehicle)
Tuesday 4-6pm Sunderland
Wednesday 4-6pm Sunderland
Thursday 4-7pm Newcastle
Friday 4-7pm Newcastle
Saturday 9am-12pm Sunderland
Saturday 9am-12pm Newcastle
Sunday 9am - 12pm Sunderland
Sunday 9am - 12pm Newcastle

Duties
- Educate and instruct students on proper swimming techniques and water safety
- Develop lesson plans tailored to each swimmer's abilities and goals
- Provide constructive feedback to swimmers to enhance their skills
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment in the pool area
- Organise and supervise swimming classes effectively
Head swim teacher- Leadership skills, able to conduct training sessions for the team, organised team cover and oversee incentives for swimmers.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in swim instruction
- A passion for swimming and teaching others
- Strong communication skills and patience with students of varying abilities
-Leadership or management role involving swim schools
Qualifications
- Level 2 STA Award / Certificate, SEQ level 2 or equivalent
- Rescue qualification (NPLQ, NRASTC, Safety award or Equivalent)
