Catena are looking for a reliable Storesperson to join our engineering workshop team in Pinxton.
This role is responsible for managing goods in and out of the business, supporting workshop operations and maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards.
You will work closely with colleagues across the workshop and office teams to ensure materials and deliveries are handled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving goods from suppliers and booking into the ERP system
- Labelling and storing materials correctly
- Processing pick notes and preparing orders for dispatch
- Packaging and organising outgoing goods
- Loading and unloading deliveries from external hauliers
- Occasionally delivering products to customers and suppliers
- Carrying out daily forklift and overhead crane checks, along with weekly vehicle checks and other maintenence duties
- Maintaining workshop housekeeping standards
- Supporting fabrication teams with materials preparation
- Completing routine safety checks including fire alarms and emergency lighting
Requirements
Essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Forklift licence
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to safely move heavy items
Desirable
- Experience in a stores, warehouse or engineering environment
- Crane operating experience
This role is based in an engineering workshop environment, which may be noisy or dusty at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
