The Newark Family Support and Safeguarding Team is on the lookout for an Advanced Practitioner who is experienced and highly skilled. This role is perfect for someone who wants to provide practice leadership while working with complex children and family cases. As an Advanced Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

Leading with Love: Provide practice leadership, mentoring, and coaching to colleagues, especially those who are alternatively qualified.

Case Management Champion: Hold a small caseload of complex cases, ensuring effective assessment and intervention.

Team Support: Assist in the allocation of work and identify development needs across the team.

Quality Assurance: Contribute to maintaining high standards of practice and safeguarding.

Collaborative Care: Work closely with Team Managers to provide operational support and drive continuous improvement.
To thrive in this role, you will need:

A recognised social work qualification and registration with Social Work England.

A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in child and family statutory social work.

Demonstrable expertise in complex casework and assessments, including court-related assessments.

Experience in supervising or mentoring others, with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
