Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team in a small supermarket.
The ideal candidate must provide excellent customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries.
- Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring that products are well-displayed and stocked
- Bag up customers goods in a quick and efficient manner
- Able to sort/coordinate/balance what should be bagged within quickest time frame
- Help handle customers goods and/or assist to take their goods outside to their cars
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Job description includes but is not limited to the following.
· Serving the customers in general
· Maintaining a clean work space, equipment, front of shop in general.
· If needed, to come early and stay later to prepare orders or any other work that might arise at the time
The chosen candidate(s) will serve the customers - always with a smile and aim to please the customer.
Will always maintain a positive attitude, act and behave with respect and dignity to the customers and other workers
Days and hours of work
Typically 8am-8pm times may vary, Sun-Thurs, SAT CLOSED
Friday 8am-5pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £2,500.00 per month
