Looking for a leadership role where you can stay active, use your initiative, and make a real impact? Rubix Removals is on the lookout for a Removals Driver and Team Supervisor to help lead our operations and uphold the professional, 5-star service we’re known for.
As a Removals Supervisor, you’ll take charge of our removal crews on-site, ensuring that every job runs smoothly, safely, and with the care and efficiency our customers expect. From coordinating logistics to setting the tone for customer service, you’ll be the key link between the team and our clients.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading and motivating a team of removal operatives on local and long-distance moves
- Overseeing all on-site activity including packing, loading, unloading, and furniture placement
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers on moving day – resolving issues, managing expectations, and ensuring a stress-free experience
- Planning and adapting job logistics, including vehicle loading and route checks
- Ensuring health and safety standards are followed, conducting on-site risk assessments where needed
- Maintaining high standards of presentation – for vehicles, equipment, and the team
- Using mobile devices for job sheets, customer updates, and reporting
- Supporting the development of newer team members with guidance and training
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in the removals or logistics sector (supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills – you set the tone for the team
- Highly organised and adaptable, able to think on your feet and solve problems fast
- A full UK driving licence (HGV desirable but not essential)
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Calm, confident and great with customers
- A can-do attitude with a hands-on approach to getting the job done
Nice-to-Have (But Not Essential):
- HGV Class 2 licence
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to removals and manual handling
- Experience leading small teams or managing staff in a field-based role
- Tech confidence – we work paperlessly using smartphones and tablets
- Familiarity with routes and driving
