REMOVALS CREW MANAGER

Rubix Removals & Storage is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Removals Crew Manager to take charge of our teams out on the road.
This is a hands-on role. You'll be working alongside the crew while taking responsibility for making sure each move runs safely, efficiently and to the high standards our customers expect.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and motivating removal crews on local and long-distance moves
- Driving our 3.5t removal vehicles
- Managing jobs from arrival through to completion
- Planning loading and making the best use of vehicle space
- Overseeing packing, loading, unloading and furniture placement
- Being the main point of contact for customers on moving day
- Managing timings and adapting when plans change
- Completing job sheets, checks and on-site risk assessments
- Making sure vehicles, equipment and the team are well presented
- Training and supporting newer members of the crew
- Getting stuck in with lifting, loading and dismantling alongside your team
Who We're Looking For
You'll ideally have previous removals experience and be confident taking responsibility for a crew and a job.
You'll need to be:
- A confident, natural team leader
- Reliable, organised and punctual
- Calm under pressure and good at solving problems
- Excellent with customers
- Physically fit and happy working hands-on
- Confident driving 3.5t vehicles
- Comfortable using smartphones/tablets for paperwork
- Someone who takes pride in doing a job properly
Full UK driving licence essential.
HGV Class 2 is a bonus, but not essential.
