A to Z Trailer Movements provides professional towing and haulage services Nationwide from our base in Northamptonshire.
We have a small but growing team of professional drivers that provides top level services to all of our customers on a Nationwide basis - looking to expand our driver workforce.
We are currently recruiting freelance / self employed B+E drivers and C+E drivers would also be suitable. Must have experience in towing trailers up to 3.5 tonne as well as experience of strapping loads / loading equipment safely.
Currently have a demand for holiday cover / out of hours cover / including weekends as well as part time week hours with the potential for full time hours business demands permitting.
Self employed / ltd / freelance drivers are only of interest at this time.
Daily walk around checks are required. Understanding of W3W / WhatsApp / the ability to take photos of trailer/s and basic IT skills will also be very important as well as following instructions.
We run mixed fleet of pick up trucks and 18 tonne beavertail lorries that have the capacity to tow. We have have an array of our own trailers that we use for haulage as well as moving our customers own trailers.
Valid digital tacho card required as well as up to date cpc required if happy to drive the 18 tonne as and when required.
Experience in moving mobile welfare units would be a plus as well as experience with Plant / powered access (loading / unloading) IPAF holder would be handy.
Some trailers we move can be 7 meters in length and weighs 3.5 tonne.
Be confident driving in city centres and reversing in tight places INCLUDING CENTRAL LONDON.
Have common sense.
Be hard working.
Not scared of getting your hands dirty. Change wheel if required and safe to do so. Basic mechanic knowledge would come in very handy.
Listen and understand instructions - if you are not sure on anything just ask.
Be based locally to NN7 area - we cover Nationwide so can be early starts / late finishes some overnight stays maybe required (not very often/hotel will be provided). Not interested in outsourcing to another location.

Pay rate is £15-£20per hour.
Out of hours / weekend work will the higher rate.
Positions would suit class 1 driver / keen caravan owner with towing experience.
Would suit somebody that is looking for part-time/adhoc hours semi retired. No points or endorsements on your licence.
