Duties
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver packages across various destinations within your designated route.
- Manage multiple deliveries each day, ensuring timely and accurate drop-offs while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery details, address any issues, and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods, including heavy lifting when necessary, to ensure all items are handled carefully and securely.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any maintenance needs.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any delivery exceptions or incidents.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to uphold safety standards at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role; familiarity with multi-drop routes is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience driving <PERSON> vehicles preferred.
- Strong commercial driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Prior warehouse experience beneficial for understanding inventory handling and heavy lifting requirements.
- Ability to lift heavy packages safely and efficiently as part of loading or unloading processes.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Organized, punctual, with a proactive approach to problem-solving on the road.

Pay: £12.90 per hour
