About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play an important role in ensuring our day-to-day finance operations are completed accurately, efficiently and on time. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for core transactional finance activities, helping to maintain strong financial controls and support the smooth running of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with finance experience who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy and is looking to develop their career within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
You'll be responsible for:
- Completing bank, supplier and customer account reconciliations
- Processing accounts payable and receivable activities accurately and on time
- Processing supplier payment runs and employee expenses
- Managing credit control activities and resolving account queries
- Supporting month-end activities
- Processing company credit card statements
- Maintaining accurate financial records and internal controls
- Providing general finance administration and supporting continuous improvement of finance processes

Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy
Desirable
- Experience using Xero accounting software
- Experience working in a growing business environment with changing priorities
- Experience supporting process improvements within a finance function
