The job in two lines:
You'll help run 80+ holiday lets across Greater Manchester and Cheshire, from our office in Hale. Keeping guests happy, cleaners on schedule and contractors turning up when they said they would.
No experience? That's fine
You don't need to have worked in holiday lets before. We'll teach you the software, the platforms and how it all fits together.
What we can't teach is being organised, staying calm when someone's annoyed, and actually doing what you said you'd do. If that's you, keep reading.
What you'll actually be doing
- Answering guest messages on via our PMS Guesty, and sorting problems before they turn into bad reviews
- Booking in cleaners, handymen and other contractors so every property is ready on time
- Chasing contractors until the job's done, then checking it actually got done
- Keeping bookings, calendars and property records straight so nothing slips through
- Helping get new properties set up and ready to go live
- One Saturday in four, looking after our Hale shop. You'll serve customers, take sales and pass on anyone who's interested in design work
Who we are
We're City Superhost. We look after people's properties and rent them out on Airbnb and Booking.com, so owners earn more without any of the hassle. We manage over 80 homes and we're still growing.
We share our office with two sister businesses: Hakim & Co, a luxury homeware shop, and Cheshire Property Studio, an interior design studio. So it's a busy, friendly place to work.
Join us as a Property Assistant and become an integral part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional service. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and commitment will help us create a positive living environment for our residents while advancing your career in property management.
The hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30. Full hour for lunch, plus a fifteen minute break morning and afternoon. We mean it, they're not breaks you're expected to work through.
One week in four you're on call in the evenings. Our Ai Chat and human VA team handles most guest messages, so on call means being reachable if they get stuck or a guest rings and needs a person. That same week you'll work the Saturday in the office and shop, then take the Thursday straight after off in lieu.
What you get
- £26,000 a year, reviewed after twelve months
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days after two years
- Bank holidays are our busiest days so you'll work 2 bank holidays a year.
- Company pension
- Full training from day one
- Real room to grow. We're a small team and we're expanding, so what you're doing in two years is up to you

Our office is on Hale High Street, ten minutes' walk from Altrincham Interchange and two minutes walk from Hale train station.

Application question(s):
- Can you reliably get to Hale High Street for 9am, Monday to Friday? How would you get here?
- It's 9pm on a Saturday. A guest messages saying the flat is dirty and they want a refund. The cleaner says she finished it and it was fine. Write the message you'd send back to the guest, word for word.
- On a Saturday in our shop, a customer has been browsing for ten minutes and hasn't said anything to you. What do you do?
- This role includes working one Saturday in four in our shop, and being on call that week for evening guest calls. Are you happy with that?

- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
