Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Practitioner to provide high-quality care and support to children within a nursery or early childhood education setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the developmental needs of young children. Duties
- Deliver personalised care and support to children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met
- Organise and supervise activities that promote learning, socialisation, and development in line with early childhood education standards
- Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure clear understanding of each child's progress and needs
- Support behavioural management strategies to encourage positive behaviour
- Assist with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and outdoor play
- Manage administrative tasks related to child records and activity planning
Qualifications
- Level 2 or level 3 childcare qualification
- Experience working with children in childcare settings or nursery environments
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents
- Nursery experience are highly desirable
- Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating patience, organisation, and a caring attitude
