Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks within the warehouse environment, ensuring the efficient handling of materials and products. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily operations.
Duties
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
- Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
- Conduct shipping and receiving activities, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with basic equipment repair and maintenance as needed.
- Utilise basic maths skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Operate forklifts safely to move heavy items throughout the warehouse (forklift certification preferred).
Experience
- Previous experience in a delivering multi drop & london area knowledge
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the shift.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for equipment repair tasks.
- Strong organisational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
