Job Summary
I am seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join my small business. The relevant candidate must have NVQ Level 3 in Massage Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional massage treatments to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellbeing. Duties
- Perform customised massage therapies tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and aromatherapy massages.
- Conduct client consultations to assess their health history, preferences, and specific concerns.
- Maintain a clean, hygienic treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Ensure client comfort throughout the session by adjusting techniques as required.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Promote wellness programmes and recommend appropriate self-care practices to clients.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximise client satisfaction and practice productivity.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or similar role within a professional setting.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential.
- Certification from a recognised massage therapy programme or equivalent qualification is required. Must have NVQ level 3 diploma or equivalent in Massage therapy.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of professionalism.
