Forever Timber – Trowbridge Garden Centre
Forever Timber is looking for an enthusiastic, confident and customer-focused Sales & Marketing Executive to join our growing team at our showroom based at Trowbridge Garden Centre.
Forever Timber specialises in premium timber garden buildings and outdoor living structures, helping customers transform their outdoor spaces with high-quality log cabins, garden rooms, summerhouses, gazebos, pergolas and a wide range of related products.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a passion for sales and marketing, and wants to play an active role in growing the Forever Timber brand within the local area.
As well as helping customers find the perfect garden building or outdoor structure, you'll also play an important role in promoting the business through social media, creating engaging content, supporting local marketing initiatives and helping generate new customer enquiries. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining face-to-face sales with creative marketing to help grow the business.
We are open to applications from both part-time and full-time candidates and are focused on finding the right person for the role. Working hours and salary will be agreed based on the successful applicant's experience, availability and the needs of the business.
All positions are offered on a salaried basis, with remuneration reflecting the agreed hours, responsibilities and level of experience. There is also the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses, rewarding individual contribution and the continued success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting customers visiting the showroom, as well as handling telephone and online enquiries.
- Advising customers on our range of premium timber garden buildings, garden rooms, log cabins, pergolas, gazebos and outdoor living products.
- Delivering an exceptional customer experience from initial enquiry through to sale.
- Managing customer enquiries, quotations and follow-up activities using our CRM system.
- Building strong relationships with customers and converting enquiries into sales.
- Creating and managing engaging content across our social media platforms.
- Supporting local marketing campaigns, promotions and events.
- Helping increase brand awareness and generate new customer enquiries.
- Maintaining the presentation and appearance of the showroom and display areas.
- Developing a thorough understanding of the Lugarde product range to confidently advise customers.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who:
- Is friendly, approachable and enjoys building relationships with customers.
- Has previous experience in sales, retail or customer service.
- Has an interest in marketing, social media and content creation.
- Is confident using Facebook, Instagram and other digital platforms.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is self-motivated, proactive and enjoys taking initiative.
- Is comfortable using computer systems and willing to learn our CRM software.
- Has an interest in home improvement, garden buildings or outdoor living products (desirable but not essential).
