We are looking to recruit a friendly, motivated delivery driver to join our busy Parts Delivery Team operating throughout the South West and beyond. This is a casual position to cover staff sickness and holidays only.
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver parts to designated locations
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure accurate & timely delivery of parts
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Load and unload parts, including some heavy lifting when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and complete required paperwork
- Communicate with internal staff regarding delivery status
- Assist with inventory management in the Dealerships
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
Skills:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely and efficiently
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
