Job Overview
We are seeking a semi skilled Joiner to join our dynamic team at CTJ Fire Doors. The ideal candidate will have a background in joinery and wood working machinery, demonstrating expertise in fabrication and assembly. This role requires experience with hand and power tools, as well as the ability to work collaboratively. The Joiner will be responsible for producing high-quality woodwork and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards. Training will also be provided on CNC machinery for further progression.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate timber fire doors and door sets
- Fitting of ironmongery
- Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks
- Perform carpentry duties including cutting, shaping, and installing materials
- Carry out heavy lifting as required during the construction process
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
Experience
Candidates should possess:
- Experience in fabrication and assembly within a joinery setting
- Familiarity with handling both hand tools and power tools safely
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
