This multi-faceted role covers Housekeeping, Food & Beverage (F&B), and Kitchen Portering (KP). You will be an essential, versatile team player who adapts across departments to ensure clean guest accommodation, efficient dining services, and smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Housekeeping:
- Clean and dress guest bedrooms to high standards, including bed changing, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Refresh bathrooms, replenish toiletries, and restock guest amenities (tea/coffee trays).
- Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas, hallways, and staff facilities.
- Handle dirty linen and assist with stocking housekeeping stores.
- Food & Beverage (F&B):
- Welcome and seat guests in the restaurant and lounge areas with warm Highland hospitality.
- Take food and drink orders, serve meals, and assist behind the bar when required.
- Clear tables promptly, reset dining stations, and maintain front-of-house cleanliness.
- Process guest payments and address basic customer enquiries efficiently.
- Kitchen Porter (KP):
- Operate the commercial dishwasher and wash cookware, utensils, and cutlery manually.
- Keep kitchen prep surfaces, food storage areas, and cooking stations clean and hygienic.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic prep work and unload food deliveries.
- Dispose of kitchen waste, food bins, and recycling according to hygiene guidelines.
Key Requirements & Skills
Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or cleaning is preferred, though full training will be provided.
Flexibility - Ability to shift seamlessly between departments based on daily operational demand.
Work Ethic -Punctual, reliable, and comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
Teamwork - Positive attitude and strong communication skills with both colleagues and guests.
Hygiene - Good understanding of food hygiene standards and COSHH awareness (training provided).
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 45.0 per week
