Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Show Homes Cleaning Operative specialising in new build properties. This role involves delivering high standards of cleanliness and presentation in show homes to ensure they are inviting and ready for prospective buyers. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining the professional image of our clients’ developments, ensuring each property is spotless and welcoming. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is highly desirable, as is a keen eye for detail and organisation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about maintaining pristine environments within the property sector.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare show homes and new build properties to a high standard, ensuring all areas are spotless and presentable
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products efficiently and safely
- Ensure all surfaces, fixtures, and fittings are thoroughly cleaned, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms
- Maintain a consistent cleaning schedule to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the relevant team members
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering quality results
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst managing time effectively
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and familiarity with cleaning products and equipment is advantageous
