Job Purpose
As a Store Manager you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales to meet profitability goals.
Responsibilities
- Managing Staff: Assigning tasks, creating schedules, and training new employees.
- Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and ensuring products are well-stocked.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and supervise store employees, ensuring they provide exceptional customer service and adhere to company policies.
- Sales Management: Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders as needed to maintain product availability.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure the store operates smoothly, including managing schedules, handling customer complaints, and maintaining store standards.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets, manage expenses, and prepare financial reports to track store performance.
- Customer Service: Resolving customer complaints, providing excellent service, and maintaining a positive shopping experience.
- Financial Oversight: Managing the store's budget, tracking sales performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team to achieve sales targets and enhance store productivity.
- Maintaining a clean hygienic working environment.
- Ensuring orders are produced to a high standard.
- Working to a efficient high standards, whilst looking for improvements.

Required Skills
- Experience in a similar Store Manager role
- Good customer facing skills
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Communication skills - written and verbal
- Good numeracy skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Passion and drive as a team player, Able to work alone as well as part of a team
- Willing to adapt and learn new skills
- Basic IT skills, (experience with DPD, Excel preferable)
- A patient personality
- Excellent listening skills and able to follow instructions
Desirable
Ability to speak additional languages (e.g. Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu, Gujarati, Bengali) to support communication with customers and colleagues.
