Summary
We are seeking a Night Shift Team Leader to join our team in Evesham. In this role, you will safely lead the production team to ensure that product output requirements are achieved within production performance, people, quality and yield targets.
Responsibilities
- Drive performance of the team using process monitoring systems and agreed management routines.
- Effectively manage all planned and unplanned down time events to optimise line performance and production cost.
- Effectively manage the use of resources (utilities, raw materials, packaging, labour, etc.)
- Optimise the labour in line with the core crew model to meet quality, safety and production performance.
- Ensure on-line quality checks are carried out in accordance with quality testing standards to ensure product specification is met at all times
- Follow site safety best practices to ensure safe-working for self and to protect the safety of team members
- Share and replicate best practice with other teams and team members to improve production performance, yield, quality, safety and environment
- Create and encourage an engaging environment that drives a continuous improvement and high performing culture
Qualifications
- Good understanding of production processes
- Ability to lead a team
- Previous leadership experience
- Ensure correct paperwork / sheets related to their function are completed in line with Dawn standards and processes.
- Good attention to detail and reliability
- Developing technical and problem‑solving skills
- Promote and demonstrate commitment to Dawn values, behaviours and corporate objectives.
Hours of Work
We are looking for our night shift; 10pm-6am Monday to Thursday and 8pm-3am Friday.
You will work fixed shifts.
Team members working night shift will receive an additional £260 per month shift allowance.
