We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Junior Assistant to join our dynamic team, within CHC Group. Responsibilities
- Assist with stock organisation, stocking shelves, and maintaining inventory accuracy
- Support shipping and receiving operations, including loading and unloading goods from lorries
- Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently (training provided)
- Utilise warehouse management systems such as AS400 for data entry and inventory tracking
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and handling procedures are followed
- Participate in picking and packing orders for dispatch
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment
- Support with basic mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment when necessary
Skills
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for all essential equipment and systems
- Knowledge of forklift operation or willingness to learn is preferred
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as AS400 is beneficial
- Ability to handle materials safely, including heavy lifting when required
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for stock management and data entry
- Good physical condition to support manual handling activities throughout the shift
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach
