We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team in providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5. You’ll assist with daily activities, routines, and play, supporting children’s learning, development, and social skills. You will work under the supervision of the management team and room leaders, helping to create a welcoming, stimulating, and inclusive setting where every child can thrive. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience, develop your skills, and make a real difference in the lives of young children. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality care in line with CIW regulations and the Curiculum for Wales and the ECPLC frame work.
Experience with ages 0 - 5 years is desirable. Must show willingness to move around each room, to gain experience in all groups. Successful candidate must me flexible with working times and days.
It is beneficial if candidates are on the DBS Update Service and hold paediatric first aid and safeguarding certificates (group A and B), though these are not essential, as full training will be provided. Strong leadership skills, effective communication with parents, and a genuine passion for early years development are essential.
Successful candidates must hold at least a Level 3 qualification in childcare (or equivalent). Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
