Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, supporting medical staff, and ensuring the well-being of patients across various clinical settings. Unfortunately, we do not offer preceptorship to newly qualified nurses.
24 hours per week
Duties
- Deliver comprehensive patient care in accordance with medical protocols and organisational policies
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and safely, monitoring for adverse reactions
- Assist with patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalised care plans
- Educate patients and their families regarding health management, medication use, and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
- Ensure infection control procedures are strictly followed to promote a safe clinical environment
- Respond promptly to patient needs, providing reassurance and emotional support as required
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent regulatory body
- Proven experience in patient care within a hospital or community setting is desirable
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Proficiency in medication administration and understanding of pharmacology principles
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with patients and colleagues
- Organised, detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards of care
