Cheam Flooring is a friendly, family-run flooring company based in Sutton, Surrey. We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic Sales, Stock & Warehouse Assistant to become an important part of our growing team.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll be involved in customer sales, stock control, warehouse operations, and preparing flooring materials and accessories for our fitting teams. If you enjoy practical work, take pride in being organised, and like working with people, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers with flooring sales and product enquiries.
- Managing stock levels and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Receiving, checking, and booking in supplier deliveries.
- Preparing flooring materials, trims, adhesives and accessories for installation teams.
- Managing goods in and goods out.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure customer orders are accurate and completed on time.
- Helping maintain our high standards of customer service.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and customer-focused.
- Well organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Practical, reliable and happy with hands-on work.
- Able to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Comfortable using basic computer systems.
- Keen to learn and develop new skills.
Previous experience in flooring, retail sales, stock control, warehouse operations, builders' merchants or a similar role would be an advantage, but it isn't essential. Full training will be provided.

- Full-time, permanent position.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (no weekend work).
- Starting salary of £28,500 per annum.
